Putting The S(h)elf Under Scrutiny
A shelf painting was hung in the hallway of a communal house. Throughout the months, the painting was being used by its inhabitants as a platform to depose objects, just as tables, armoirs,... Throughout this period I made photographs of the “living” still-life and decided to put two states of the painting next to eachother.
